Ticket In/Ticket Out (TITO)
The Ocean Jewel utilizes Ticket In/Ticket Out technology at all slot machines. It works in much the same way as traditional slot machines, with players inserting paper money in exchange for credits. For example, on a $.25 cent slot machine $1 = 4 credits and on a $.05 cent slot machine $1 = 20 credits.
With TITO technology, the machine prints out a paper ticket with the dollar amount of a player's winnings instead of coins. There are many advantages to this technology including:
- No messy, bulky coins to deal with
- The ability to play your favorite denominations with the same medium
- Quicker exit/entry on your favorite slot machines
- Shorter, if any, lines at the cashier
How To Redeem Tickets
The Ocean Jewel makes it easy for players to redeem their winnings. There are three ways in which a player can cash in their credits.
- Other Slot Machines
- All Ocean Jewel slot machines will accept tickets and download the dollar value to the selected machine in credit form.
- Upon cash out, the machine will convert the credits back to a dollar value.
- Kiosks (Automated Cashiers)
- Kiosks are located throughout the casino floor for your convenience. Simply insert your ticket face up in the kiosk and it will automatically dispense its value in cash on the spot.
- Our Kiosks can also be used to break large bills into smaller denominations.
- Please note that our kiosks do not accept chips used at the table games. They will need to be cashed out with floor personnel.
- Cashiers
- Our friendly cashiers are always willing to exchange your tickets of chips for cash.
Ticket Redemption Policy
- At the Ocean Jewel all valid tickets are good for 30 days after printing.
- The Ocean Jewel reserves the right to redeem or pay winnings of $1200.00 or more in the form of a check.
